The Co-Pilot of Germanwings Flight 9525 Andreas Gunter Lubitz




First picture: Germanwings co-pilot - 28-year-old German Andreas Günter Lubitz (above) - locked his captain out of the cockpit before deliberately crashing into a mountain to 'destroy the plane', it has been revealed


-German national
-Began Co-Pilot training in 2008 while working as a flight crew
-Interrupted his training because he depressed and suffering 'burnt out'
-Has 638 hours flight experience
-He was 28 years old
-The airline confirms he took months off work but insists he was 100% fit to fly.
