The claws are out!!! These two have been going back and forth for some time now.
Well, it is reported that Taylor's hoot song "bad blood" is about her fall out with Katy Perry.
The two used to be friends but somewhere along the line, things got messy. While talking to Rolling Stone about inspiration to her hit song "bad blood", Taylor revealed 'For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not. She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, "Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?"
'Then last year, the other star crossed a line. She did something so horrible, I was like, "Oh, we're just straight-up enemies." And it wasn't even about a guy!
'It had to do with business. She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me.'
Taylor, who said that she is 'surprisingly non-confrontational', then admitted that there may be a 'personal' aspect to the rivalry, but added: ‘But I don't think there would be any personal problem if she weren't competitive.’
One ‘personal problem’ the pair could have is that Katy is currently dating John Mayer, who was previously in a relationship with Taylor – she even penned the break-up ballad Dear John about their time together.
It didn’t take the internet long to suggest that Katy was the star Taylor was talking about in the interview, and the Birthday hit-maker only added fuel to the rumours when she tweeted the following day: ‘Beware the Regina George in sheep’s clothing.’
